Shortcut Hamburger Stew

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium sweet onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can campbell's beefy mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can campbell's tomato soup
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (24 ounce) bag frozen stew vegetables, slightly thawed (potatoes, carrots, and celery)
  • 1 cup water (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 in a dutch oven over medium heat, brown ground beef and onion.
  • 2 drain if needed and return to pan.
  • 3 add rest of ingredients except water.
  • 4 stir to blend all ingredients well.
  • 5 cover and turn heat to low and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until vegetables are slightly softened, stirring occasionally.
  • 6 add a little water at this point if you want your stew a little on the "thin side".
