Perfectly Peach Cobbler

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 cup fat-free margarine, melted
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup splenda sugar substitute
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup skim milk, room temperature
  • 1 egg, room temperature
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans peaches in light syrup, drained
  • 1/2 cup splenda sugar substitute
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter and spread in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  • 2 mix together flour, sugar, baking powder & salt and stir in milk & egg.
  • 3 pour evenly over melted butter.
  • 4 combine peaches, sugar & spices and spread over batter but do not stir together.
  • 5 bake 35-45 minutes at 350°f until batter is golden brown.
  • 6 serve alone or a la mode! enjoy!
