Spinach Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spinach, bag frozen
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1/2 cup dry rice
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch mrs. dash table blend seasoning

Recipe

  • 1 boil 1/2 c dry rice with 1 tsp butter and 1 1/2 celsius water.
  • 2 simmer 15 minutes until done and water is gone.
  • 3 cook spinach with a few tablespoons water in microwave 3-5 minutes until wilted.
  • 4 mix together milk, eggs, seasoning, rice, chives, and cheese in an 8 inches round or square glass casserole dish thats greased.
  • 5 mix in spinach.
  • 6 bake at 350 degrees 40-45 minutes. let cool on a towel on the counter for about ten minutes before serving so its easier to cut in slices.
