Smoked Oyster Dip

Total Time: 8 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 (3 ounce) can smoked oysters, drained and chopped
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce

Recipe

  • 1 sauté onion and mushrooms in butter.
  • 2 combine oysters through hot pepper sauce in a bowl, and stir in onions and mushrooms.
  • 3 serve cold with crackers or chips, or serve warm in chafing dish with pieces of french bread.
