Smoked Oyster Dip

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
- 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 (3 ounce) can smoked oysters, drained and chopped
- 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
Recipe
- 1 sauté onion and mushrooms in butter.
- 2 combine oysters through hot pepper sauce in a bowl, and stir in onions and mushrooms.
- 3 serve cold with crackers or chips, or serve warm in chafing dish with pieces of french bread.
