Ginger Chili Scallops

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs fresh sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 6 ounces sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Recipe

  • 1 mix ginger, chili sauce, brown sugar, parsley.
  • 2 heat oil in a large saute pan on medium-high heat.
  • 3 pat scallops dry with paper towel.
  • 4 dust scallops with small amount of flour.
  • 5 cook two minutes.
  • 6 turn scallops and cook additional 2 minutes.
  • 7 add chili sauce mix.
  • 8 reduce heat to simmer and cook 3 additional minutes.
  • 9 serve over angel hair pasta.
