Pumpkin Donut Drops

Total Time: 17 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil for deep frying (375°f).
  • 2 in large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg.
  • 3 mix pumpkin, milk, oil, vanilla and egg.
  • 4 stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
  • 5 drop by teaspoonfuls into hot oil 5-6 at a time.
  • 6 fry 1-2 minutes, on each side, until golden brown.
  • 7 drain on paper towels.
  • 8 mix sugar and cinnamon; roll warm donuts in mixture.
