Ingredients

- 1 cup prune, pitted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 6 kumquats, sliced
Recipe
- 1 cover prunes with cold water and soak overnight.
- 2 simmer until tender in the same water.
- 3 add half the sugar and cook five minutes longer.
- 4 remove prunes; measure 1/2 cup juice, add orange juice, remaining sugar and kumquats and simmer until kumquats are tender.
- 5 add prunes.
