- 1 can sliced beet
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 sliced onion (but good) (optional)
Recipe
- 1 drain beets saving liquid.
- 2 add water to beet liquid to measure one cup.
- 3 in a saucepan combine sugar, vinegar and cinnamon stick.
- 4 heat to boiling.
- 5 pour over beets.
- 6 cover and refrigerate at least twelve (12) hours.
