Masala Chai Butternut Squash

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs butternut squash
  • 1 1/2 cups chai tea (brand silver leaf tea's masala chai tea)
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 cut squash into 2 halves.
  • 3 remove strings and seeds.
  • 4 place squash cut side down in baking dish.
  • 5 add warm slt masala chai tea to baking dish.
  • 6 bake for 35 to 40 minutes until fork penetrates smoothly
  • 7 remove from oven and cool 5 minutes.
  • 8 remove squash from skin.
  • 9 mash squash.
  • 10 add cinnamon and nutmeg (optional).
  • 11 enjoy.
