Pan-fried Squash

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb yellow squash
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups cornmeal
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 slice the squash about a 1/4 an inch thick.
  • 2 preaheat oil in a frying pan.
  • 3 season the squash slices with salt and pepper.
  • 4 coat the squash slices with cornmeal.
  • 5 fry squash about two minutes per side, or until slighty brown.
  • 6 let cool and enjoy.
