Rhubarb Slush

Ingredients

- 3 cups chopped fresh rhubarb or 3 cups frozen rhubarb
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup apple juice
- 3/4 cup frozen pink lemonade concentrate
- 1 (2 liter) bottle sprite
Recipe
- 1 in a saucepan, combine rhubarb, water, and sugar; bring to a boil.
- 2 reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until rhubarb is tender.
- 3 cool for about 30 minutes.
- 4 in a blender, puree mixture, half at a time.
- 5 stir in apple juice and lemonade concentrate.
- 6 pour into a freezer container; cover and freeze until firm.
