Fried Oysters A La Norfolk

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 quart oyster
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • cracker crumb (saltines)
  • oil or fat, for frying

Recipe

  • 1 preheat fat to 380°f.
  • 2 wash and drain oysters.
  • 3 beat eggs.
  • 4 dip oysters into cracker crumbs; dip into egg and again into crumbs.
  • 5 fry until golden brown and drain on absorbent paper.
