Texas Pecan Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Recipe

  • 1 combine butter, sugar, corn syrup, salt, and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl; beat well.
  • 2 add eggs, and beat well.
  • 3 stir in pecans.
  • 4 pour into pastry shell.
  • 5 bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
