Texas Pecan Pie

Ingredients

- 1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Recipe
- 1 combine butter, sugar, corn syrup, salt, and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl; beat well.
- 2 add eggs, and beat well.
- 3 stir in pecans.
- 4 pour into pastry shell.
- 5 bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
