My Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup dark karo syrup or 1 cup light karo syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup pecans
- 1 unbaked pie shell (do not use a deep pie crust)
Recipe
- 1 beat eggs well.
- 2 mix sugar, starch and salt.
- 3 add beaten eggs.
- 4 stir in syrup.
- 5 stir in pecans.
- 6 pour into unbaked pie shell.
- 7 bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.
- 8 pie will be soupy when hot but will congeal as it cools.
