Tilapia Creole Sauce

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can tomatoes, diced
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon basil, chopped
  • black pepper, to-taste
  • 5 drops tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 lb small shrimp, peeled

Recipe

  • 1 add all ingredients except fish and shrimp to a saucepan.
  • 2 simmer sauce until slightly thickened.
  • 3 add shrimp to sauce. cook 3 to 4 minutes.
  • 4 place fish in a baking dish. cover with sauce.
  • 5 bake at 350°f for 15 minutes.
