Spaghetti Goulash

Total Time: 1 hr 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 lb bacon, cut into 1 inch chunks
  • 3 large onions, cut into chunks
  • 1 1/2 lbs hamburger
  • 3 (28 ounce) cans tomatoes, diced
  • 3 tablespoons black pepper, more if you'd like
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 quart tomato juice
  • 2 lbs spaghetti

Recipe

  • 1 fry the bacon in a big kettle, drain on paper towels.
  • 2 in same pot brown the hamburg and the onions, about 15 minutes.
  • 3 return the bacon to the pot and add the tomatoes simmer for about 45 minutes.
  • 4 add the black pepper, sugar and tomato juice.
  • 5 cook your spaghetti in a separate pot, when done rinse with cool water to stop the cooking process.
  • 6 add the cooked spaghetti to the pot of sauce.
