Pineapple Beets

Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple tidbits, do not drain
- 1 (16 ounce) can sliced beets, drained
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Recipe
- 1 in saucepan, mix brown sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
- 2 add pineapple and bring to a boil, stirring.
- 3 boil and stir for 1 minute.
- 4 add beets, butter, and lemon juice.
- 5 cook on med for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 6 serve warm.
