Oat N' Toffee Cookies

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 8 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened (no subs)
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 1/4 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (10 ounce) package toffee pieces

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and sugars.
  • 2 add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • 3 beat in vanilla.
  • 4 mix flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  • 5 gradually add to creamed mixture.
  • 6 stir in toffee bits.
  • 7 drop by rounded tbs onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • 8 bake at 375* for 10-12 minutes, until light golden brown.
  • 9 cool 1 minute before removing from pans to wire rack.
