Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 onions, peeled and sliced
- 8 eggs (hard-cooked, peeled and sliced)
- salt, to taste
- paprika
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- cracker crumb, buttered
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400f and butter a casserole dish.
- 2 melt butter and saute the onions until translucent.
- 3 cover bottom of prepared casserole with half the onions.
- 4 add eggs, season to taste, and cover with remaining onions.
- 5 pour sauce over all, sprinkle top with buttered crumbs and bake until golden, about 20 minutes.
