Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 3/4 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped (1 medium)
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, loose pack
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can cream of tomato soup
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- paprika (optional)
Recipe
- 1 prepare mashed potatoes and set aside.
- 2 in a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion until meat is brown and onion is tender. drain off fat.
- 3 stir mixed vegetables and water into beef mixture.
- 4 cook, covered, for 5 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- 5 stir in the tomato soup, worcestershire sauce, and pepper.
- 6 bring to a boil.
- 7 transfer mixture to a 1-1/2-quart casserole.
- 8 drop mashed potatoes in mounds on top of hot mixture.
- 9 if desired, sprinkle with top with paprika.
- 10 bake in a 375 degree fahrenheit oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through.
