Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups pecan halves
Recipe
- 1 heat first four ingredients in a heavy pan to 242 degrees on a candy thermometer.
- 2 place pecans in a large bowl and pour mixture over them; toss to coat.
- 3 spread out on a cookie sheet, cool and separate.
- 4 if they are too sticky you can put them in a 150 degree oven for a few minutes to crisp them a little.
