Meatballs With Dill Sauce

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons minced onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons dill weed
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup plain yogurt

Recipe

  • 1 mix all meatball ingredients well.
  • 2 shape into 1-1/2 inch balls.
  • 3 place on rack in roasting pan.
  • 4 bake at 400* for 15 minutes.
  • 5 dill sauce: melt butter in saucepan.
  • 6 stir in flour and salt.
  • 7 slowly add broth.
  • 8 cook and stir over medium heat until thickened.
  • 9 remove from heat; add yogurt.
  • 10 reheat; stirring; do not boil.
