lauhillau cookies

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/8 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

    Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 12 mins Ready Time: 30 mins

  • preheat oven to 350 degrees f (175 degrees c).
  • in a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla, bananas and peanut butter. combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture. finally, stir in the rolled oats and chocolate chips. drop by rounded spoonfuls an unprepared cookie sheet.
  • bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
