Slow Cooker Cinnamon Apple Steel Cut Oats

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • cooking spray
  • 8 cups water
  • 23 ounces unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 1/2 cups steel cut oats
  • 2 granny smith apples - peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1/4 cup ground cinnamon, or to taste
  • 1/3 cup granular no-calorie sucralose sweetener (such as splenda®) (optional)

    Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

    Ready Time: 6 hrs 15 mins

  • lightly spray a 5-quart or larger slow cooker crock with cooking spray.
  • combine water, applesauce, oats, diced apple, cinnamon, and sweetener in prepared slow cooker.
  • cook on low for 6 hours.
