Southern Sweet Iced Tea

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 family-size tea bags, quart (i use red diamond or luziann tea bags)
  • 2 cups regular granulated sugar
  • 1 gallon water

Recipe

  • 1 in a medium size pan fill 1/2 way with water.
  • 2 add tea bags.
  • 3 cook on medium heat until comes to a good boil. it will be foamy.
  • 4 put sugar in gallon jug (pitcher).
  • 5 pour boiling tea over sugar.
  • 6 stir well to dissolve sugar.
  • 7 add water until jug is full (may not use whole gallon of water).
  • 8 stir well.
  • 9 pour over ice (i like mine anyway i can get it ice or no ice).
  • 10 drink and enjoy!
  • 11 i use red diamond or luziann tea bags.
