Ingredients
- Servings: 8
 - 1 lb ground sausage (we prefer sage sausage)
 - 2 tablespoons flour
 - 1 cup milk
 - 1 cup water
 - 1/4 cup brewed coffee
 - salt and pepper
 
Recipe
- 1 place sausage in a skillet (cast iron is best) and brown.
 - 2 add flour and brown.
 - 3 add milk and water.
 - 4 simmer until it is the thickness you desire.
 - 5 stir in the coffee to the mixture.
 - 6 if to thick, add more milk.
 - 7 serve over your favorite biscuits.
