Summer Fried Tomatoes With Oregano

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 medium almost ripe tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 slice tomatoes 1/2 in thick.
  • 2 mix oregano with flour and cornmeal.
  • 3 salt and pepper slices.
  • 4 heat butter in skillet.
  • 5 dip slices in flour mixture.
  • 6 cook in butter over med low until light brown.
  • 7 sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
